Why Volunteering is a Core Value at Haven School of Dance

At Haven School of Dance, community is everything. As a nonprofit, every family is required to volunteer at least two hours each session to help keep costs low and maintain the quality of our classes.

A $30 volunteer fee is added to each family’s account at the start of the session and waived once the required hours are completed. Your time supports our teachers and creates a welcoming space for all dancers.

Volunteering is more than a requirement — it’s how we grow and thrive together. Thank you for being part of the Haven family.

Do What You Are Good At

If you have unique skills, talents, or resources that you’d like to use toward your volunteer hours, we’d love to hear about them. Whether it’s organizing, creative work, technical skills, or something else entirely, your contribution makes a difference.

All special skills must be reviewed and approved by our team before they can count toward volunteer hours. Completing the form does not guarantee that your skills will be applied for this session.
